Season 3 ended with Georgia pregnant, a murder pinned on the wrong man, and Ginny revealing she is more like her mother than she ever wanted to admit. Season 4 has officially wrapped filming and is deep in post-production, with a mid-to-late 2026 release looking most likely. Showrunner Sarah Lampert is already teasing from the edit room that fans are going to “freak out.”
The Big Questions Going In
The most obvious one is the paternity. Georgia slept with both Paul and Joe in Season 3, and the show’s creator has confirmed even the writers’ room has not fully decided who the father is. That uncertainty is going to drive a huge chunk of the season.
Then there is the fallout from Austin lying on the stand to frame his own father for murder, with Ginny orchestrating the whole thing behind the scenes. Georgia seeing her kids replicate her worst instincts is described as “the final straw” that pushes her toward therapy and genuinely trying to break the cycle.
What the Theme Tells Us
Creator Sarah Lampert named the Season 4 theme “Cycles and Origins.” One of the new recurring characters is named Daisy, which also happens to be the name of Georgia’s mother, strongly hinting we are finally going to meet the woman who shaped Georgia into who she is. That backstory has been dangled since Season 1, and this looks like the season it pays off.

Key Things to Watch
Marcus comes out of rehab this season, and his recovery arc alongside Ginny’s attempt to actually be different from her mother is where the emotional heart of the show lives. Austin is set up for his biggest storyline yet. And the question of whether this is the final season is genuinely open, with cast wrap posts that sounded suspiciously like goodbyes.
One thing is certain: the Millers are not getting a quiet year.
You can catch up on first 3 seasons of Ginny and Georgia on Netflix.
